For a moment he hesitated. Romatzo said he'd stay with Marina and the others. But it would had be highly impolite to refuse to join Grimlok. Not only because he was a very high member of the Guild, but also because dwarves respect their elders. Finaly, he said to the girls "I'll be back soon.", discretly pointing Grimlock's direction with his head. He started to leave, when Minalva said, "Wait! I come with you." She turned to her two other companions and added while making a curtsy and chucling, "If you will excuse me ladies." Grimlok, Master of the Armory and Equipments, greeted them with his stentor voice. His fingers still covered of magical rings. "Ah Romatzo! Happy to see you my boy! Minalva, you look gorgeous! - Master Grimlok. Responded both companions, bowing. - Don't be formal, and just call me Grimlok. He laugthed and slapded strongly on Romatzo's shoulder. I wanted you to come because I want to present you my wife, Olk-Emi." A female dwarf approached them. Olk-Emi was blond with blue eyes and her face exuded kindness. She looked strong like all people of her race, but she was also a little fat. Less than her husband, though. "Nice to meet you childs." said the dwarf woman. "It's an honor to meet you." Responded Romatzo. Minalva simply made a curtsy, with a big smile revealing her white teeth. She was amused by this human manner she had learned, by Delphine, before coming to this event. "I thought you will enjoyed some dwarves companie for a change." said Grimlok after the presentations. "Not that there is something wrong being with other races. He adressed a wink at Minalva. But I have been a young adventurer too and I know it can be difficult to be far from its land and its people." It was true, sometime it was hard. Of course these last weeks had his mind well occupied with these demons attacks and all that followed. But, in more peaceful times, he sometimes missed the high cliffs and their strong and loud winds, he missed the long corridors of his city carved into the mountain. And when they all went to Minalva's clan, his familly really missed him. "My familly, he thought, my parents, my sister. He pictured them in is mind. She must have turn twenty now." He thought. Yes, it would be nice to spend this evening with his kind. "I sincerly thank you for your kind attention." he said politely. Then he slapted and grabbed Grimlok's shoulder and both laughed with the strong laugh proper to their race. The two women next to them watched the scene amused. They spent a long time discussing and laugthing. Mostly of dwarves things. But Minalva didn't felt outcast there. If their cultures were very different, their characters were pretty similar, wood elves being just more playful. It was very pleasant to be with Olk-Emi and Grimlok. And it was clear that even if they were a couple since a very long time, both was still very in love with each other. Then Olk-Emi said something unexpected. "I must say, you make a lovely couple." They all watched her with surprised. Then, after a moment of silence. "What do you say, Olk, they are not a couple. retorted Grimlok amused by this statement. They are just companion of adventure! - Really ? added the dwarf woman, looking at the two concerned. - Yes. responded Romatzo a little embarrassed but clearly sincere. Minalva agreed, but there was something in her eyes that didn't escaped Olk-Emi. She looked at Romatzo and at her husband, sighed a little, then took the hand of Minalva. "Come on, dear, lets go talk a little further." she said with a smile full of sweetness. "Ha! Women! Sometime I don't understand them. said Grimlok once the two had left. - Yes... responded distractly Romatzo while he was watching Minalva leaving further. The two dwarves continued talking for a while, when Minalva and Olk-Emi came back. "Romatzo ? said the young wood elf. - Yes ? - I return to our rooms in the Fortress. - Are you okay ? You want I accompanies you ? - Yes and no, she smiled, dont worried. It's just there are some things I want to think about and it's too crowded here." Then turning to the dwarf couple. "Grimlock, Olk-Emi, I spend a great evening with you and I wish you a very good night." She kissed Grimlok on the cheek, hugged Olk-Emi then leaved the room. Romatzo was a little confused. But she didn't seemed preoccupied and Wood Elves could be very secretive, so he did not gave more thought of that. Romatzo and the two other dwarves continued to discuss, until Delphine came to him. It was still relatively early, but tomorrow will be a charge day too, so it was better to not leaving too late. She was surprise to not see Minalva with him, but he explained the situation to her. Romatzo greatly thanked Olk-Emi and Grimlok for this lovely moment they spent together, then he left with Delphine. They found Marina with Amon, outside the bal room. She had her shoes in her hand and seemed to have a really good time. They came to her and said they were leaving. She decided to come with them, but before leaving she kissed Amon on the cheek and wink at him. He laughed and gave her her wink back. Excepted maybe Delphine, they were actually a little sad to leave. But they were also happy of the perspective of ending this full of event day they had. ___________________________________________________________________ Thank you for watching and if you read too, thanks even more. This serie of pictures was very fun to make. It was also a challenge and I had to have them well optimized. Because of all the characters (26 in the 3 pictures), clothes, hairs, props, etc... I like this last one because there is a lot of variety in it. Humans, Mountains and Plains Dwarves, High and Wood Elves. It's also the first time that we see a female dwarf. I choose to put her and Grimlok in front of the camera instead of Minalva and Romatzo, because they are new characters that kind of expand the univers. Having faces on names is always better. It's "sad" that the hand of Grimlok with the most rings is his left hand, which is not very visible here. But it's probably already good enough that we see the 2 on his right hand. I have my idea of what Minalva and Olk-Emi have discussed. You don't have to be a genius to understand the subject of it, but the details could have been interesting. Oh well. :) I did not put a Depth of Field in this picture. I don't know if it's better or not, what do you think ?
