I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Great scene and render, my friend !!! I can understand your frustration. Sometimes all you can do is just step back, take a look at the big picture and regroup. I'll be looking forward to seeing your continued outstanding work, after this brief hiatus.

Read your blog Rod. It is sad to see it but I guess cute stuff sells... like in real life... whether it took any effort to make them or not. Most people don't understand the effort it takes to create 3D artwork. You do put in a lot more effort into your artwork than me or anyone else here. Do do deserve something back from it. Hope this situation will improve for you in the future... I wish you the very best.

Superbly sexy. G looks especially enticing here. I know it's how many months later, but I get your frustration. Despite some of my minor achievements with these webinars lately and exposure, it certainly has done nothing to improve monetary income and only added a moderate amount of traffic. The bottom line I always say for myself is that I have to do this for myself. When I have an idea, take the time and express it as needed. Luckily I have three outlets I enjoy, regardless of my ability in each of them. I'll never be Tolkien or Niven, I'll never be Roger Dean, Boris or Frazetta. Nor will I ever achieve a talent like Keith Emerson or Rick Wakeman, but as long as I'm entertaining myself and few others can appreciate it, it seems that is often enough to satisfy. Aim high, shoot low? I think that's how it goes. Once in a while you'll hit the bullseye guaranteed. And now you've got me curious about Patreon. I've been seeing that word pop up, but I never checked it out.
Anyway, your work is top quality and most artists are not appreciated in their lifetime. (why the hell is that?!) So I can only offer that you just work to enjoy and you are certainly entertaining a lot of people here. The only other thing I might offer is that if your T.N.A. story is available for free here, then many people will likely not bother to support you elsewhere. As an example I offer many prehistoric images through a stock image site called Stocktrek. Over time I stopped posting images to here and DA that I would upload to Stocktrek. Despite Copyright laws things have a way of leaking out and I've had a noticable uptick in sales since I stopped sharing images across all sites. Mind you I only make a few hundred dollars in a year, but it helps with gas and lunch. I'm almost caught up. I think one or two pages to go.
