Here is another illustration for Stanislaw Lem novel "The Invincible" - this scene depicts the deployment of energy shield emitters - the energobots . Created and rendered in C4D with its standard render.

"simple" - well if it was done with ready to use objects from DAZ, then it would be simple, but in this scene I created everything from scratch and it was quite a lot of work. More crowded scenes will follow, this one depicts the one of the first events after the Invincible have landed on Regis III planet - deployment of force-field generators - automated vehicles. The crew descended on planet surface only after the force-field was activated. So I just placed a solitary robot (Arktan type) to provide better impression of the scale. I try to remain as close as possible to description in the book, however sometime it is not possible, as there are inconsistencies in the novel. Nevertheless it is a great piece of solid SF, I hope it will be put on the screen one day.
