Description

Hi. Well its been quite a while for various reasons since I had anything of what might be called interest to upload to my gallery here at Renderosity but I am pleased to say that's now all changed and below you will find the reason why: An American Adventure Bringing it all into Prospective It’s interesting how life turns out, or at least I like to think it’s been interesting how my life has turned out. In August 2016 I published my first book on Amazon, a work which was, up to that point at least, the story of my life so far - in other words it was my autobiography and it was entitled “From Coal Miner to Astronaut – A life Less Ordinary” which should give you some idea of the life I have led so far. I never thought the story would have any sort of follow up worthy of being additionally published – how wrong was I. At the end of the story, a story which had taken me three years to write and had involved my interaction with editors on not one but two continents, plus the support of a friend of mine to create the not so small Blog which supported the book the story had developed into something with a rather interesting series of statistics attached to it:- One front cover, One back cover, One dedications page, One introductions page, One hundred and two chapters (yes that’s correct one hundred and two) and not one but two appendix. And of course as mentioned above there was the not so small supporting Blog, a Blog which featured hundreds, if not thousands of pictures (to be honest I never did count them all). At the end of the book, if you don’t count the two appendix which followed on from Chapter 102, I went so far as to make the following bold statement:- “things just seem to happen, either for me or to me. Call it Fate, call it Karma, call it what you like and I have to wonder, what’s just around the corner, waiting for me to go looking for it, or for it to come looking for me”. Well here’s what came next. Yes there have been a few what might be called “mini-adventures” in the interim; yes I did have not one but two design proposals accepted for consideration by the US Space and Rocket Centre in America, yes I also had plans passed to have my garden totally removed and a library built in its place, yes I did have my main custom built computer system die on me and had to have a new custom one built with the aid of my 74 year old computer mentor and yes I was informed by my publishers at Amazon that my autobiography which was only available at that time in Kindle format could be turned into a paperback if I wanted, but up until this point in time not really anything which might be called seriously worthy of note, or publication for that matter, in a life which I have come to realise can never be boring, and which will always turn out eventually to be less than ordinary. “So what did come next”? Well what came next were the series of adventures which took place in my life between Tuesday, the 11th and Friday, the 21st of September 2018, adventures which are featured in a story I have made the decision to call “An American Adventure” and which has just gone on on sale on the Amazon.co.uk web-site, just do a search for Phil Reeder Kindle and you will find both my autobiography and this new work or you can use the links below to access the new work and the Blog which supports it:- Amazon Link:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07N7TKN3M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1548887910&sr=8-2&keywords=phil+reeder+kindle Supporting Blog Link:- https://mynextamericanadventure.blogspot.com/ Hope you like what you see.
