Lol. It might seem cruel now but I remember "letting" the family cat out before going to bed each night and it returning the next morning when someone got up. I'm not sure the cat was too happy with the arrangement as it would dig its claws into the carpet.

Piper looks like it is your job to control the weather as well as the food bowl. My sister's cat actually smacks her in the face to get her to wake up in the morning. Fabulous photo!

One of our Siamese used to clout me on the nose to wake me up. But when he was getting old he couldn't retract his claws ... I had a lovely collection of clawmarks ...
