Description

As her fortress collapses into fiery ruins, Hagred manages to change herself into a vulture and wearily flaps away on a long journey through space and time back to her den. With her magic mostly depleted it may be a couple of generations before she can resume her human form. In the mean time she will have to feed on carrion and get her enjoyment by perching on dead trees and scaring people. Ken Gilliland’s Birds of Legend is from DAZ. This bird is the thunderbird a legendary creature related to the present day condor. (An author is reluctant to kill off a villain or villainess, keeping in mind the possibility of a sequel, however remote that might be. But rest assured that Hagred’s role in this episode of the tale is over.) Thanks for looking.
