I like it! Dreams are stolen all the time while people sleep. Have you ever woke up and heard that droning tone in the middle of the night? Thats what it is. Great Work! ;-)

Thanks everyone! Stolen dreams is an interesting twist to this image, but its not really what I meant by it. Okay, the limbic region (that which is responsible for most of the emotional processes in our brain) of the sleeping man is tapped, letting the Cerebral Spinal Fluid flow. This is thought by many, (and I tend to agree as with the infarctions on my spinal cord my CSF flow is way outta whack), that it is the really the 'life blood of the soul'. If you have CSF infarctions some weird shite happens L. Anyhow, I digress, the CSF is flowing in two directions, one over the spine, to feed the cord and body's nervous system, the other into a reflective funnel. This feeds CSF into the left side of the brain, the right, obviously quite painfully, regurgitating and creating new lives. These fall, semi formed in a droplet, to the pool below. Some are drawn up by the left hand (the right is really the one 'drawing' ;)) to have a relatively easy journey, wrapped in the safety of the blue cloth (courage) and back up into the sleeping being. Other poor souls are sucked into the void, sent along the chute, to be spat out, in a spinning motion, to the bottom of the stairs, far, far below. They then have to choose a passage upwards, some of the staircases being extremely steep, others not as angled. But the stairs really lead nowhere. The trapped souls then trundle onwards, representative of repressed emotions, until they decide to take the plunge by climbing the railing and leaping back into the pool.

Interesting way of expressing a vision - I like it & thank you for the explanation - it adds further depth. :)

This is very well done. The concept, composition and the execution are reall well done. I like the painterly feel to this image, but I would like to see you experiment with a layered background. It might effectively bring your images into focus by giving it more texture and depth.

Absolutely beautiful:D The colouring worked out great, setting things off nicely. I really like the improvements made to the stairs, it adds a lot of depth to them. All in all, I just love it!

AWESOME............................ Glad I saw the black and white sketch first. Made the color an additional evolution for me.
