I love Giger, He's by far my favorite artist. Good modeling and textureing, the contrast between the model and the background is awesome, my only comment is that there is a white halo / outline around the model itself. I assume from cutting and pasting in PS? try feathering the selection to blur the edges so the cut isn't so visible. Otherwise great job!

I think this is wonderful, i like the darker style artwork and have always been a fan of Giger, I;d be afraid to take on one of his works but I think you did him justice. and i think the texture on the body is fine, looks like his smudgy gray skin

Why didn't you applied the Giger background to your modelling work in Video Post using Add layer event or simply by including the background as a environnment background file in your seen, like this you would not have needed to do so in Photoshop and so no white line around your 3D model would have appeared..

OK guy frist off I wish to say thank you on telling me this is done.2nd ok I looked at this I realy looked hard and though to my self about it and the goods and bad of it.Goods frist:ok I realy like the tex on the air tank the hair like stuff and the back ground I like the white but think it should be lower in brightness so I geuss that one would be a good bad sorry (smiles)I realy like this and you did this in 3ds max so that realy says alot to me I wish I could use 3ds max like this man any ways back to my coments on the pic ok the bads:The spiks coming out of her head I realy think this would be better with out them they seem to take away from the pic abit I think.and the skin I too think the tex on the skin should be more real looking I mean you have all this realy good and detailed tex on the hair and air tank but on her it looks too bluredand takes away from the other tex you have in the pic.I like the color leave that but maby have a more detailed skin tex and this would be so grate looking. All in all I think you did a realy good job on this.I realy think you did a grate job at makeing a 3d from a 2d.I also think that if I did have the poster of this pic in my living room I wouldn't be so how would I say this in depth with my coment to you but I realy liked this pic that Giger made. It's cool you chose to do this one.I was going to do it my self but with poser but this looks way better then my poser one ever could have looked any ways hope you don't take me wrog this is good I like it grate job(smiles) Infra5
