Nice photo. Looks like the trees branches are trying to hug the tower. Has the tower always been a free standing structure, or has it once been a part of a monastery or church? I remember seeing it when I was in Paris 1968, but could not understand why it stood alone. Do you have more photos of this? Keep up the good work! :-)
