Description
I get so depressed by humanity and the world. So much stupidity, so many fools and greedy incompetants running our governments and economies and so many people just drifting through the daily grind and incapable of evaluating just what is going on around them.
I see a world getting hotter and hotter until it hits the point of no return and all the gases trapped by the ice caps finally erupt into the atmosphere and set us on the way to becoming a second Venus.
This would mean the end of the world as we know it. One might expect the Earth to eventually cool down enough to be able to produce life in some form. Not that such life forms will know anything of us; and the entire history and achievements of mankind will be lost forever, erased forever by our own stupidity and inaction.
Well, no-one’s going to see this screed, so why do I write it?
Because I need to write it.
And of course I will never know if I am right …
I have had better days.

I keep hoping a lightening bolt will hit the leaders and knock some sense into them, but it would probably just make them feel "Chosen" and get worse.

And each one of us has his/her own little Armageddon.Some have it around them, others have it inside. Which is worst? It is hell for the individual, either way. I wonder how long this world will last. Keep up the good work. :-)
