I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Oh, NO! Ute Syltermermaid gone. She has left a good legacy with all her beautiful characters. What took her away? Cancer? Heart problem? Other? Man, this makes me sad. Some of my friends and acquaintances have passed on these last 6 months. That hurts! God have mercy on her. Well done image, Rod. Keep up the good work feels so out of place in a memoriam. But you folks know what I mean. :-(

Oh wow, no way. Very sad news Rod. She designed so many beautiful characters and most were free, lots on the free pages of her models. So all viewers go to freebies and find dome beauties. Her family will be in my prayers. Not sure what happened but the C word I bet was it.
Thanks for sharing this piece and info Rod.

I'm really sorry, Rod, for you and all the others here who knew and loved Ute's work. I did a kind of memorial for her earlier last evening, but I realized I didn't know her enough to make it personal, and I thought it was better left to those who knew her better. But I did say that since becoming a fan of several 3D artists, i've been amazed at the closeness and love so many of you express to each other---it's really apparent (esp coming from 2D and even photography, some days); and the responses to Ute's passing are a perfect example of that. I glanced through her work (I'll see the video when I'm through commenting this morning), and I can see she was consummate; and I'm sorry for all who lost her. Looks like she struggled, from one of her last uploads; but I hope she is in total peace and radiance now...
Your image is quite moving, with Anichka folded up in grief and incomprehension. Your work on her is as consummate as all your other pieces; and here you have a deep immersed posture of private mourning. The hopeful part is all the flowers around her, like life is blooming in Ute's passing...maybe Ute herself is in them. A beautiful memorial, and my condolences to all of you who knew and cared about her.

Thank you, Rod. I am not here long enough to know Ute but I feel my colleagues in their grief and sadness. Take heart. She is at peace and in a far better place.

Wow This is extremely sad news for me. I've known her here since around 2004, and we became friends communicating and sharing ideas and creative tricks. She was one of the most generous and thoughtful people I've ever met. I posted several of her images on my web site years ago in my visitor's gallery. I lost touch with her and most other friends when my computer dies and I lost all my apps and products. I sort of just gave up art for a few years until I visited here and chatted with her and some other friends and found that I could download everything I'd bought from DAZ and from here. I couldn't get all the gifts that venders had given me and items I'd bought from other sites. I and many others will miss her, but will never forget her! Thanks for posting this Rod.

Even though this is the first I ever heard of her and her talents, I pass on my deepest condolences as to her passing.
