Description
Alternative history. Well, but not very far from reality. You see the USS Midway, introduced shortly after the war. On deck are AD1 Skyraider, F7F Tigercat and F8F Bearcat. Is there one who can say where the particular aircraft are on the deck? ;-)
Tigercat never was used with carrier air groups. But Tigercat was intended as successor of Corsair and ended up as night fighter. AD1 Skyraider was the successor of all the attack aircraft. Bearcat was the successor of Hellcat. This would have been the most powerful piston-engined trio on aircraft carriers ever.

WOW! Terrific work on the Midway! This is an excellent render all around, but I particularly like the work you've done on the carrier, and especially the weathering. Top notch work. The deck hands are a very nice detail touch too.

That's a Tigercat at the very front of the ship, taking off. Among the big group, the Bearcats are in front, Tigercats in the middle, and Skyraiders at the very back.
This was very nicely done.
