Another excellent image that captures the very essence of the desert. Nice lighting effect toward the back, the "front" could use a little work but on the whole one fine image!

the terrain and POV is great.But the surface is my problem.less is more.....hmmm....no, not in THIS picture.it looks boring without a more distinct surface.besides that : the soft silhouette of the planet in the background doesnt fit the scenery very well. Sorry for that, but you made much better pictures before.I know...sometimes theres a lack of creativity...i have the same problem since a longer time now.dont be sad and excuse my honesty: but this picture doesnt deserve an excellent.

problem is; all very fine details in terrain will be eaten by wunderfull surfacemapping, and it is a pastiche of some of my mojo stuff anyway thanx for comments

Agree with prutz ;-) BUT, the surface can have many layers, as long as they don't differ too much (just my opinion)
