Description
I have a really hard time sacrificing detail (my family could tell you all about that, if I let them talk to anyone! ;-) ) so this was a surprisingly painful experiment for me. I think I'm getting used to it, but I would like everyone else to weigh in, if you could take the time. I adore Rackham's fairytale illustrations (*ADORE*) and this maybe, almost, has a touch of that. Maybe?
If nothing else, the imp looks slightly less wicked in watercolour. Softens it right up. ;-)

I liked the original better, though this one has a more victorian fairy sort of feel to it.

I can't decide... I think I like the original better, but how much of that is because I bled over every detail for so long I can't let go? ;-)
