after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.

p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

A gorgeous steampunk scene with this lovely lady, Steve! That's a nasty looking rat - must be radioactive...
Once again, your skill with color harmony and composition shines through. Most excellent work as always!

I adore that colours green from the dress, plus that rusty once in the background, it's very charming too.

Steve, I'm at an hour and I have to get my day started, so I went backwards rather than forwards, to catch at least one more image from February. (Your Poser Gurlz for April is worth a comment for sure; but I've neglected Feb, so let me do this one instead, and I'll comment on more next time...)
I love your choice of hues here: She's wearing a great green dress, with wonderful olive and brown tones; and great thickness---a real steampunk 19th c outfit. And that clock ornament on her chest, along with the great gears and clocks on her face (and goggles) are all great details. That animal on the far right---I'm not what that is! But if it's a rat, it's got some major scary features. And she's fighting it with radiation, I think (!). It looks like you have a character on the wall from Close Encounters (from the spaceship), and a fine bronze-hued-soiled background, incl more clocks, a chemical lab, a number counter on the top, and a great old rusted barrel, etc. You use all these things really well. And you create an old castle feeling, or a basement of a big old building...with this formidable woman fighting off a small fierce creature. Her greens realyl set her off from the whole...another piece of wonderful design from you. YOu always have your eye on the big picture, and you create images of real punch and real detail. A real talent, Steve. (I'll write back to you soon...I wish insurance covered chiropractic and massage for you, as it sounds like your foot and leg could use it; maybe physical therapy would help, if you can get it off of insurance, or find a clinic that does it for free. I hope your pain goes away soon. And part of it comes with age...pains come and they stick around a long time. I wish you healing, Steve. Esp as the spring comes on...)

Well done.
