zoom's a must to see your detail: The original is another of your beautiful rose shots, this one in a bleaching light that almost makes the petals white. Your composition is your usual spot-on centering, and the light slightly flattens the petals (in an eye-grabbing way)---which leads to the further flattening of the 1st variation, where, through some kind of flattening, you've rendered the surfaces out-and-out flattened, making segments of almost-abstract shapes while the rose is still crystal clear. Fine work with maintaining the rose's identity while making an abstract piece. And the last variation is a softening rather than flattening...where the whites seem to spill over like cream. The flower, here, takes on a dream quality---fine filtering. A very sensitive trio, with the original being yet another of your beautiful solo flower shots.
