What a beautiful, but also a rugged and a kind of desolate landscape you have caught. It's very intriguing, only I don't understand why I get a stiff neck while admiring it. lol.

uploading side ways is caused by the size of the upload. I experience it also on large photos

Do you mean file size in that case? Must try fiddling with that. Joshua Tree is an amazing place, several different landscapes in one park.
