Seeing that lil' sled again, I think it would look slick even in a movie produced today!
I wonder what the "in story" propulsion was meant to be? The later items veered more into the realm of the "fantastic", but the earliest accessories were inspired by real "concepts", designs NASA at least considered.
This one, it kinda' straddles the fence. Was it intended to have small directional rockets for micro-gravity transport, or was it intended to be some near impossible "mag-lev" vehicle?
Regardless, it was a sweet ride!
