after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Never give up on cats Steve. They have 9 lives or more. One cat I rescued a couple of years ago left the area or found a new home about 6 months ago. He's been coming to my house for food again the past 3 nights. Gorgeous image as always!

I'm back, and will comment on some other of your beautiful images...
As a musician, I knew this was a glass sax, and wouldn't be played for real---although, you'd be amazed what some musicians have played! I've heard a glass violin, it was amplified (with amp), but it was played! So who knows about this...but I know it's decorative, and it's just another way you find objects to be part of your superb designs. I still can't get over your color sense: You have an uncanny way with color, you get subtlety but at the same time explosions. And you know how to use a "color theme": This is filled with pinks and red-pinks: Great variations-in-hue from the bright "NIKI" to Niki's reddish pink hair, to every other type of pink on her bracelets, swimming suit, the flower on her leg, etc. And those deep hot pinks in the floor, and then pink 'dream forms' in the background (those circles and droplets of various sizes and shapes).
You always do such bang-up job with musicians: I still remember a guitarist in your gallery, on her knees (I think it was a woman), wailing away; and the whole pic was a blast of terrific hues and shapes, while that guitarist wailed away as its star. You have a real feel for musicians. This is a sax player in a moment of repose, and the sax is a terrific contrast to the rest, because it's glass and transparent. Adding that sax is what some of my teachers would've called "an act of perfect intuition" (ie, putting the sax there in the first place..."saxy"...). Terrific, Steve. Another of your knockout pieces.
Steve: I was gonna leave several more comments, but i got a call and have to go to the bank and then take care of some family matters. I'll be back later today or tomorrow. Great image, and I wish you a fine weekend...
