Description

The Girl In The Window © Charlotte Drobnicki Published: February 2006 She stands innocently at the window Peering out at things unknown Little hands grasping the windowsill With eyes enormous shown I look in amazement and awe For I know that it's plain to see That just thirty years ago The girl in the window was me Source: https://www.familyfriendpoems.com/poem/the-girl-in-the-window

Great light and mood in the room. The poem is beautiful with a nice twist in the end. Bravo!

sweet, mysterious poem, perfect for the image. I like that you include poems in some of your uploads. The photo has lots of dark, but you've gently softened it (or captured it soft) so that the light glows like mist. And it fills up the darkness with a special presence. A sweet view outside too...with that woman in silhouette, looking out. Sensitive, delicate work, and as musical as the poem, and as mysterious too...
