Description

My soul was hanging somewhere in the suburbs of our earth, ... closer to the moon, surely... Me, I let myself be distracted by this sky studded with billions of stars, ... so much that I had trouble keeping my attention on the disc selene... It was then that the spectacle of a whole lunation began to parade before my eyes... I created and rendered this scene with « Vue Infinte 2016 ». To build the moon, I could not use the primitive sphere of « Vue » because it does not contain a layer « UV » to accommodate a « Normal Map ». To work around this problem, I simply exported, in « OBJ » format, a primitive sphere of « DAZ Studio » that precisely contains this bump channel with the standard unfolding of a « World Map ». I then created the material covering the « moon » object by downloading the textures of color and bump on the « NASA » website. My lunar disc becomes, thus, more real than nature. After several hours of adjustment of the light, the atmosphere and some animation tests of the movements of the sphere of the fixed stars, the rotation of the moon and the camera ; I was able to run the rendering calculation in ultra mode of 3000 images, Full-HD 1920 x 1080.
