Captured way back on 12/17/2005 at the beautiful Rancho Los Alamitos in beautiful Long Beach, California.

Well this time I'm starting from where I ended, in March, and moving forward from there. This pampas grass photo has thicker, fatter tops than the last one, and they look like a series of cotton dust cleaners blowing in the wind. They're very lush. And the tree that leans into the center is a fine contrast, because it takes us from the side to the center, as a unifying feature. And the grasses taper off with the general angle of that tree. In other words, solid linear composition. I love the cottony feel of these grass-heads. A very fabric-y image (the leaves in the background feel cottony too). Lush vegetation.
