Another great portrait.

oh yes, another of your intense portraits. This has a little of de Kooning in it, but it's very real with an intense gaze, and the rushing strokes for her hair and the shadows on her are rattling and quite powerful. You have a big black stroke in the background (left) which is a strong "punctuation mark" to the portrait, as if the background is commenting on the painting/drawing. Strong use of reds and pinks too, etc. Powerful portrait with a deep inner gaze...you weren't fooling around when you did portraits in those days...
