"Archibald the story will never take if we say you pulled the legendary sword from a mushy rain soaked field! It must be more dramatic my friend." protested Leopold the knight.
And so the legend of King Archibald folded up that day. As the the rains swept away an entire army into the forest never to be seen or heard from again.

very good depiction of rain and props. where my cousin lives in New Mexico they have watch every step they make outside to avoid rattle snakes

Thank you one and all for comments and viewing my works. I don't recall rattlers in Clovis NM, but as kid I recall the thousands of Horny toads out there. At any rate peeps be on the lookout in the Southwest rattlers are hungry right now.
