The monastery dates back to 1867 in Ferdinand, Indiana another member here visited this place and posted a picture

Another monumental capture, with the ground sloping right into the entrance of this romanesque, actually greek orthodox looking structure. Your light and shadow are dramatic here, and the slightly lower vantage point lets the monastery tower in front of us. A big bold clear shot of this. Really well done.

(I went to college in southern Indiana---Indiana University---for a year; I was in the school of music...the surrounding area was gorgeous and green, and the falls were breathtaking...)
