The passengers of the Vulture aircraft shown on the previous post are now on the board of the extra Stingray spaceship : the number 9. It is filled with only half a million passengers, all of them awake. It was not supposed to take off if the previous 8 spaceships have reached space without any defect, but it took off anyway, without warning. This rogue spaceship was then attacked as it has already reached 20 km of altitude, but the attackers did not succeed in stopping it. Clip "a" shows a very close view of the front end of that Stringray spaceship, under unprepared attack. Clip "b" shows the side view of that same Stingray spaceship, as the attack was being ordered to stop, by the ground authorities. Clip "c" show a very far view of that spaceship when it was crossing the ionosphere, towards the end of its chemical propulsion; an aurora-like effect is visible behind the spaceship. A simpler version of the APER, Stingray and Hypercargo spaceships were in my mind since I was a teen, way long before Ionivka came into my mind, in 1976. At that time, however, the propulsion systems of these spaceships were not well thought about. The concept of an interstellar spaceship, which operates on a fusion-based Bussard ramjet propulsion system, started to take form at about 1977 or 1978. I am constantly plugged into my own mental Netflix; it never stops. It is usually fun, but it can be overwhelming sometimes.
