NICE JOB! This is exactly what a still life portrait should look like. Good composition and nice, warm lighting. The glass is very attractive with just the right amount of reflection/refraction. I like the subtle blues visible in your shadows (which are amazing, btw). Love the little details like the peel off to the side and that hole in the leaf. The subtle shadows on the ridges of the melon are exquisite. I'm very impressed. I also love the type choices at the bottom. My only suggestion would be to add a small black bar at the top to give your frame a little more balance. I would suggest making the top bar about 1/3 to 1/4 the size of the bottom bar. And next time, don't forget to sign you work! This one really calls for a sig to complete its classic look.
