Description
Hello All!
This is the last of 3 uploads of this autumnal scene and was captured several months ago at Lumb Hole Falls, 3 miles above the town of Hebden Bridge, in West Yorkshire and is the Crimsworth Dean Beck. The bridge in the background is an ancient packhorse bridge and this beauty-spot provided the inspiration for a poem by Ted Hughes titled “Six Young Men”.
Despite using a grad-filter during the photography I have used three differently exposed images from the same RAW file and blended them together to show how the scene would look to the eye as if you were there in person to see it. A slight alteration of levels, saturation boost, as well as a touch of dodge and burn was also used.
We are planning to do a spring and summer re-visit to this location.
Thanks for looking and any comments and critique are, as always, more than welcome and valued!
Carl
