It does look like a drawing coming to life, cool! It might also look interesting with a graphic pen filter, making it look like the best doodle ever. Some people have the skill to draw like that, I do not, lol...

I love this. I love it. I love how the fractal ball---almost made of a brushed metal---is so visceral and 3D; while the background is like a fine ink drawing, or print, or etching. It really does look like an unfinished 2D piece (pencil maybe...) The ball on top of it suggests that it emerged out of the patterns behind it, like they were its prototype. You have all grays, whites and blacks here, and you use them very expressively. And putting the ball---which is kind of the first focal point of the image---to one side allows the drawing-part to reach out across the frame. A really fine piece, Barb, endlessly fascinating and beautiful. And that background looks so drawn on, it's hard to believe you did it with a fractal program...

I want to wish you and your loved ones a sweet Easter, if you celebrate, and hope your spring is going well for you. And your caretaking. And the rest of your family and loved ones. I wish you a beautiful weekend, whatever you do, and filled with health too. Easter (like Passover) was originally at the beginning of the ancient year---our March was coincident with the first of months in the ancient calendar---so it's kind of a renewal and new year. I wish you much light and renewal in the year to come. Lots of blessings and light to you, Barb.
