still life of onions - because of rainy sunday I did some indoor photography :-)

I love red onions but not able to eat them raw any more. superb still life

You captured beautiful light here, Priska...It's the kind of light we often see in paintings of the 16th and 17th Century, especially the Dutch masters. Beautiful light on the yellow onions in front...and fine detail in the red onion (cut into pieces). And the background has warm light and lots of shadow (chiaroscuro). An introspective and warm capture of an intimate plate of onions. I think there's a lemon back there too---lol: This plate will make someone's tongue jump out of their mouths! Sensitive beautiful work, Priska.
