Description


19 F2A Buffalos and 6 F4F Wildcats started on June 4th 1942 from Midway to defend against over 100 Japanese Zeros, Vals and Kates. They shoot down 4 Zeros, 6 Vals, 1 Kate and and damaged some, but 14 USMC pilots lost there life. After the battle only 3 F2A and 3 F4F were still airworthy. It was the first and only time that the F2A fought under american coloures against Japanese planes. Claimed aircrafts by the F2A: 1 Zero, 3 Vals and 1 Kate

Ahh! the Brewster Buffalo. I once had it as a 1:72 Revell kit 😆 A very seldom seen airplane! You staged her very nice!
