Clip "b" to "c" : He is telling her that she will go through a mild initiation for her sexual education* : She will be able to have a conversation with a local boy of her age, under supervision. Note* : Ionivka has never seen a boy at Yfer, except once during her museum visit (See pp. 9 to 19). Clip "d" : A woman of the village is taking Ionivka to a park so for Ionivka to meet her 15-year-old son. Her husband will come soon to visit her, then her son will accompany his father to learn manhood skills. Already the boy can ride a horse and can repair a village house. Clip "e" : The woman gives permission to Ionivka for wearing a bikini, but she should never touch her son, nor anybody. Clip "f" : Ionivka and the boy have a good conversation, under the supervision of the mother who is playing with her younger daughter. She observed that Ionivka behaves as if she has never seen a boy of her age. That supervised meeting was repeated for 3 afternoons. Clip "g" : Then, Yori and Ionivka left the village for resuming their journey. The radioactivity level at the village and on the trail for the remainder of their journey is lower than the radioactivity level at the forest near her father's home.
