Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive. All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Delightful and fun render with Zlata and Star, buddy! Good to see a render from you even if it is an older one!
Hopefully things will calm down for you for a good long while - and good on you for the quitting smoking! way to go, Mike!
I know how you feel - it's been beyond nuts here as well... And here I thought retirement would be relaxing.... 🤔

I used to smoke and I quit years ago, I fell sick and I had to lay in bed for almost a week. After that period of time I just lost interest in smoking. All I had to do is memorize the feel I get after I just smoked one and try to force it back into my brain really. Shortly after I stopped drinking coffee, I do drink it sometimes in the weekend but coffee is a major mood changer also so don't drink too much of it. Drinking, only in the weekend and only the good stuff. Try not to pick up drinking after you quit smoking, I was tempted to do that. I hope you'll get better my friend! Try to get some decent sleep but not too much sleep cuz that's not good either.

Good to see the Queen again. Its been a while. And very glad to hear of your successful surgery. Quitting smoking is one of the best decisions you will ever make. If you can, sometime during the day take a few minutes to sit quietly, breath deeply and de-compress.

Beautiful surreal work. Glad to here that things are getting better. Very good that you've quit the butts too.

Well you have managed to do yourself a huge favour by quitting smoking, so well done! It is good to have a real achievement in progress in the midst of the difficulties. Keep going, the longer you go the easier it gets to think of yourself as an ex-smoker not someone who is in the middle of quitting. Not sure what is going on with that render but maybe that's the idea lol!

Love the image. Glad all is well with you now. Keep up the good work with the no smoking.

Glad to read of your recovery. I half smoked one cigarette many decades ago, and that was it. When it rains, it pours.

Neat! They look like they're on the sub atomic level.

Wow, what a kaleidoscope. A great render. Nice to hear that you are feeling better again. Although you should step back a little bit now. Because the stress at work is not good for your health.

I meant to get to this when it went up, but I wasn't able to give the time. On your image: I recognize the older style, and I love the blasts of white, and the 'sunburst' composition (big 'rays' coming at us as if they were beaming out of an orb). And all those spherical things, on rings and tubing, I really love this style of yours. And we can see Zlata and others in various configurations. A big, almost hall-of-mirrors piece. I really love it.
Re your description:
First, I'm very happy you're through with this medical crisis, and hope it's the last one. You have every right to be exhausted after all you went through.
But then you gave up smoking---right after the medical crisis, and not too far after a break-in, and having to work for others: Duuude! You got guts!!! (What's that line from some old comedy---"I quess I picked the wrong day to give up smoking...") I wish you everything in the world with it! I know from many smokers that it's a big commitment, and can give you some really low days. (Really, you could do comedy bits about putting on 200 pounds...doctor yourself up in photoshop...) I take my hat off to you: It's a bear, and congratulations for getting it out of your life. All my best to you, Mike, I assume you'll start to feel lighter as you go along---in your breathing and so on. Also, I can see why you thought my grandfather was a hero (in that piece about me and cigarettes): You probably wish someone had done that to you when you were young. I've known lots of smokers: All the best to you, friend. May the powers of the cosmos be with you! (And it's understandable that you're infrequent here. I'm sure everyone understands. Just keep at it, and I wish you the best.)

Glad you finally posted this, it's charming! Also VERY good to hear your procedure was successful! And EVEN BETTER to hear you are stopping the smoking - I can't tell you how many loved ones I've lost to tobacco. And if anyone understands the reality of Real World getting in the way of having fun doing artwork and posting here, it's got to be me LOL! Take care of what you have to, be patient - and don't be too hard on yourself. Look at the list above - you have friends here! OK? '

Great render, and sorry I didn't hear about these issues before :/ (have been out for 3 months myself, because of some weird health issue, just trying to get back at the moment. I had to stop smoking too btw ;) ).

Nice to see our little Queen, and glad to hear the health issues are being resolved. And hope you can keep the tobacco demon away.

I'm glad to hear you're doing fine now... hope it stays that way... though I'm a little late. I don't see much on internet lately. cool image btw!
