Description
In early 1940, Finland bought 44 Brewster B-239s from the US, the export version of the F2A-1.
Two were lost by accidents during test flights.
Among the Finnish pilots she was called among other things Pohjoisten taivaiden helmi ("Pearl of the Northern Skies").
During the war against the soviet air force the Brewster claimed 477 warplanes with a combat loss of 19.
Ironically, the best kill-to-loss ratio of any fighter aircraft in World War II (26-to-1) was obtained with this aircraft.
On the 3rd of october 1944, after Finland signed an armistice with the Soviet Union and changed to the Allies, the last victories of Brewster pilots in WW2 were two Ju 87.

Very nice render! The color camo and markings look terrific, and the Brewster model is excellent. Great job!
