Description
I went to the care facility to visit the old lady yesterday. when I was leaving I was speaking to a very old man in a wheel chair. I asked him how are you. he replied that he was fine, then asked me how I was doing. afterwards he told me that he was going to stop lying and tell people how he really is doing.
he told me that he was going to have a birthday soon and he started to say he was going to be 80 something. his son walked up and said he is going to be 90! He was fun talking to. I made friends with another old man that is okay mentally, but he has lost the ability 3 times to walk unaided. each time he would return to the same care facility.
the youngest sister of the old sister asked her why she did not answer yesterday and she said(talking on her cell phone) that she could not find her phone. the sister told her it is around your neck! she is suppose to get a hair cut tomorrow at the salon located in the facility and only a short distance from her room. she told the same sister that she is afraid it will storm. she told her she only has a very short distance to go inside! why worry about the rain?

This is very nice work. It sounds like you meet some very interesting people at that facility.

This looks so cool!
I'm glad you meet and talk to people at this facility. I take care of my 91 year old mom. She rarely goes out but she's always worried about the weather. I think it's something to talk about that's always new. Also, old bones ache with bad weather so good weather is welcome.

This has a lovely abstract feel to it, Richard. Nice way to save it from the delete key!
That's so kind of your to make friends with the folks there. I'm sure it lifts their day.

Bless her heart. She seems to have a free-floating anxiety. It happens sometimes. She must be feeling insecure, and not totally safe, even if it's only in her mind. You are so sweet to visit!

Those visits are difficult. It's been almost 20 years since I had family in a facility I'm closer to being there than visiting. Best possible image for the story.
