I know you've posted a lot since this upload, but I wanted to pick up where I left off, and the next session I'll do more recent pieces as well. (I'd hoped to return to commenting 2 weeks ago, but the pain in my neck down to my hands has reached a peak, and I've finally had to accept that this will with me for the rest of my life, and I'll have to do lots of maintenance on it each day. Also, my sister's ill again, and a few other little crises in my living space, etc...But I'm back for now, and want to get to at least some of what you've posted in your explorative, inventive and eye opening gallery.)
This is part of a long series of tree treatments from you, and it's an eerie mix of skeletal branches and a coppery rusted sky. A beautiful combination of hues and horror-film shapes...like it's the background for a monster's entry. Very moody and etched; and you handle bare branches---a subject many photographers veer away from---very expressively throughout your gallery.
