For more than 20 years I have worked as a technical writer and commercial designer. My primary focus has been on print and Web design and I'm just now exploring the many incredible tools that exist to create 3D work. My main tools are Poser and Clip Studio Paint, which I use to create comic book style line art. I am also published an Origins Award winning Wild West game called GUTSHOT (see www.hawgleg.com for more info).

Also fantastic work! Personally I like the raw version more, mostly for it's ink and colour comic style. The image itself is strong, tells a story and sucks the viewer in and - at least I - want to know what has led to this scene and how it all will play out. That's a big part I love about art that fuels my mind, makes me scream for more!
Very good craftsmanship AND the talent of a storyteller in one person? A rare gem to find, and here you are

Thank you so much! You know what? I kinda preferred the "raw" sketch covers, too. They had more energy. I tried to capture that with the rougher/looser paint style, but there was something in the sketches that really worked for me, too.

The yellow accents against the deeper blue sky really draw the eye to the action. And the font and colors of the fonts are easy to read, even on my (relatively) small laptop screen

Thanks! The editor decided to change the yellow on the spine to white text. Nevertheless, I'm very pleased with the way this came out.
