Anglais (traduction automatique) Hello, and thank you for coming to visit me!
I live in the south of France, in the Tarn. I have always been passionate about images, especially photography (ah, black and white film ...).
For a few years, I created images with 3D software: Poser of course (Poser4 at the start ...), Cinema4D, Vue. You can see some of these images at the start of my gallery on Renderosity.
Then, with age and fatigue helping, I returned to my first graphic love: photography.
I especially like to show what is not always considered interesting: insects, animals that we meet without seeing them, and if possible to make a portrait of them that we enjoy seeing.
I also really like the architecture, especially religious, that I discover during my rare travels
My partner Danielle is also present on Renderosity, under the pseudo of Leije

This is a beautiful "flower." I did a quick search for wildflowers in France, but couldn't find this plant. Perhaps you could contact a local horticultural group to see if they could help identify this plant. Would be interesting to see the leaves of the plant--could help to determine to which family it belongs.
Update: This is a Leopoldia comosa or commonly known as a tassel hyacinth or tassel grape hyacinth. It is one of a number of species and genera also known as grape hyacinths. It is found in rocky ground and cultivated areas, such as cornfields and vineyards, in south-east Europe to Turkey and Iran, but has naturalized elsewhere. In southern Italy, Portugal and Greece, its bulb is a culinary delicacy.

Wow! You are very effective as a botanist, Barb! You are right, it's a Muscari comosum, known in french as "queue-de-poireau", "muscari chevelu", ou "ail à toupet" (infos wikipedia). Thank you very much for your help, my friend!

That is beautiful. I used a search engine and it looks like Leopoldia comosa (or tassel hyacinth or tassel grape hyacinth)

Beautiful hyacinth. I only know the perl hyacinth. But the wild form with the tassels is a thousand times more interesting. Fantastic photo, Jean-Claude.

Beautiful blossom and photo! I must apologize for getting so far behind on your art! I don't know how that happened! I must be showing my age. Anyway, many fine kudos on this beautiful work!
