At first, thank you for the nice comments, favorits and likes to my last image: TFLWPT - Monastery Bremen.
It means a lot to me!
From Lübeck the journey went through the Baltics to Lake Ladoga.
In the village many children ran around with red-blond hair. Definitely all descendants of Uncle Hackbart. Ragnor wondered to find out where Hackbart was. He got the answer that he was in the office, whatever that was.
As Ragnor entered the office, he saw his uncle bending over parchment scrolls. He was doing an inventory. Around him were many fine furs. Clearly Hackbart was a very rich man.
When Hackbart looked up from his work, he saw only the contours of Ragnor. He dropped the quill and mumbled ... "That can not be true ... Ragnor, we thought you were dead!"
There was nothing left in his chair. He jumped up and hugged his nephew.
Of course Ragnor had to tell his uncle what had happened to him. Anyway, Hackbart was glad that his nephew was alive.
"Uncle, I desperately need your help, I need gold, because I have something important to do, I want to take revenge on the betrayer of our family."
"No problem, you're just as wealthy as I. Because when I went to the East back then, your dad helped me out and got half of the business for it, you see, you'll have enough gold to put your plan into action. But you will not find these specialists here, so you have to go to Novgorod", Hackbart said. "But before you wash the name of our family clear, you should first eat properly!"
