Beautiful! My Queen Elizabeth are blooming, but they keep getting battered by heavy rain. I have a ground cover rose that is loving all this wet. Go figure. LOL

The light on the very edges of the rose, and the light in the background, render this rose a deeply reflective creature, because most of the rose itself is sunken in shadow while the light blazes all round it. Yet its reds come shouting through, which makes it both recessive and blasting. Amazing shot, like you caught it in a red hot mood, where it's hiding in shadow but is about to burst out at any minute. Love the buttery yellows waiting to take over the whole scene. Splendid.
