Description

Route 66 with Charly - Day 3, Normal, Illinois - Normal is anything but normal. One tip - Don't stay at the Motel 6. We had to do some research. Route 66 is no longer a commissioned U.S. Highway. As a result, parts of it are missing, hidden, unknown, etc. We had to do some searching, but we found this little section as a walkway in a park. Dead end at both ends. Carly said, "I want to drag race my car!" Oh, and I gave her back her luggage, so she changed in to what she calls her 'racing outfit.' There she stood, staring at her car. I laid down on the pavement for this shot. But, as soon as she started walking towards her car I figured I should get out of the way. I've been ran over once, and I don't want to ever be in that position. I'm lucky to be alive. That said, Charly would never run over me. Well, after hiding her luggage yesterday, I'm not so sure. Charly is a kitbash of various Genesis 8 textures and morphs. The car is from DAZ3D. The photo I took on a hard-to-find section of old Route 66 somewhere near Normal, Illinois.
