They gave their lives so America, and the world to some extent, can be free. Never forget!

This is the cost of our priceless freedom! So many take it for granted; we should never forget those who defended it with their life! We should express our gratitude to them; we should remember their ultimate sacrifice ... forever!

In full view, this is a sprawling shot of the seemingly endless series of graves in commemoration of those who fell in wars. It's stunning, esp because you brought such white light out here: The stones seem almost like beacons, they're so bright against all that green and shadow. And I love the rolling hills here. A beautiful and fitting shot, to remind us of the vast numbers of people who died in wars. A moving and fitting tribute.

Sad and beautiful. The white stone shines like light shouting, "always remember me"

We are reminded again that freedom isn't free. Many have paid the ultimate price. Moving photo, Richard.
