Just a test? Surely your just having a laugh? I've seen published work that dosen't even look half as good as this! The water is remarkable, a plug-in? Realflow maybe? Metaparticles? Never the less, what's really impressive is the fact that everything here in this image is faultless. Top class.

All jobs posted here were made with scanline default render from MAX V3.1. The drops were made with a sphere with noise and scaling the botton part. There is a plugin used that helped to make convincent the fluids called Clay Studio Pro from Digimation, but was used only around the can that i made from a spline. The botton part of the fluids is a loft and the others are superspray default particles. That was really a test to an advertising agency that i worked for. Thanks for good comments.
