this looks like a bee but it is a hoverfly or surphus fly with daisy - seen yesterday near home

the flower is beautiful against that near-black background. The petals are so white! And the hoverfly is off to the left of the stamens, and his yellows blend-in perfectly with the yellows of the stamens. Beautifully composed. This is one of your "minimal" photos, where you have only one or two subjects. And you purify those subjects so that they're like perfect sculptures. And you present them against a dark, contrasted background. Beautiful work, a delicate solo portrait.
