Description
they’re all so busy staring at their little phones, or tablets and paying no attention to the world around them. A fleet of flying saucers could land and no-one would notice!
I sometimes wonder what they do for conversation nowadays - it’s all texting, online typing, games and virtual reality.
You know, if it ever gets to the point where everyone can work from home, without having to commute, then how many would ever leave the house?
Everything ordered online, shopping delivered by courier and the more efficient the robots become, the less people will have to do for themselves around the house. Just sit at their screens and entertain themselves.
And when the day comes when the robots do everything and people don’t need to actually work anymore . . .

Yes. The inevitable scenario develops! Why even have those lazy, worthless beings around! Just get rid of them! Love this image! Love dragons! I must dust off my dragons again soon! You have inspired me!

Kids as young as three (!) with screens. The new techno-babysitter. When I was trying to study computer science some 20 years ago, I had no idea things like this would become an issue (along with social engineering, malware and the Dark Web).
And once the Singularity happens, then comes the Paklet, or the Borg, or the Cybermen, or those machines that built the Matrix, or T-1000. Maybe not that extreme, or not extreme enough...?

It's sad that people are not dealing with each other face to face... They have become rude too, hiding behind online personas.
The man should just ride the dragon to some far away place and live there. :)

Reality sucks when it hits you in the head, can't hide in the virtual world forever...

Sadly true.
We're losing part of ourselves.
We need to get that something back, while we can.

Fantastic rendering, beautiful work

So very true! I've seen kids sitting on the same couch texting each other. Insane!

hmmm, if I could get everything delivered to my door, I am one of those who would be HAPPY never to have to leave the house! lol Total Poser junkie who never has enough time for art. Oh well, takes all kinds I guess. :) Love the render BTW. Very imaginative :)

lol :) Nice one ! Yup, it is so true. I go to a restaurant and see couples and families all looking at their own individual phones and tablets. No one is talking.... I don't see what is the point of them coming to a restaurant to eat when they don't even want any company or talk to each other and enjoy the meal together. And then there are those phone zombies walking and bumping into people, trying to walk up the wrong way on the escalator, the list goes on and on and on.... What is the world coming to ?

Elle est fantastique cette scène, j'adore le dragon

I'd presume that's what the dragon is complaining about to the gentleman on the bench: that humans nowadays are just glued to that little screen in front of them. Not often one comes across a dragon and a human engaged in an interesting conversation, is it? :)
Not to worry, humans will eventually make the dragon race succumb to the same addiction. :D
