Description
Out of the corner of his eye, Landon spotted a big hunk of a guy walking down the row of seats. He focused his eyes back on the screen, not wanting to draw attention to himself. Big jocks like that guy usually didn't take kindly to scrawny little dudes looking at them. He felt the seat back lean back a little, and the weight of the dude plop down into the seat next to him. He kept his eyes focused on the screen, trying to enjoy the movie, and not get distracted by the guy next to him. Then he started thinking, "My mystery date should be showing up any minute. Maybe I should move to a different seat." But what he slowly began to realize was, he'd been stood up. Surely his date would have gotten there before the movie started.
