Description
This started as an excercise in posing. I loaded the new Aakash from Daz Studio. Then I needed something to pose her with. Sure, I could have done a standing pose, but where's the fun in that? So I loaded the ancient R-75 motorcycle. I actually really like the bike, even if I wish it had a lot more material zones. That's something I intend on fixing.
So I got her all dressed up, and seated nicely on the bike. I was pleased. And then she just looked so lonely. So I loaded up Soraya and spent another several hours getting her all posed up nicely, though I cheated a little but and used santuziy78's Queen of the Roads for a starting point. After that, I loaded up the diner and the new beach HDRI they just released the other day.
Of course the diner needed some patrons, so I loaded a few.
All in all, I'm happy with the render. And I like that bike enough that I'm going to be putting some time into adding material zones so I can use it for another project.

Nice posing and scene ceation. The chrome on the bike looks nice but the paint is too flat. Generic posing on the bike should be fairly fast if you use the Active Pose Tool and the knee bend, Arms up/down, Arms Front/Back pose control. But yes, after that to fine tune the pose and achieve the finger posing will always take time.

I have to go in and add material zones in order to fix the paint. Which I plan on doing very soon. The license plate is part of the main body mat zone, so applying a shader to it means the license plate becomes the same color as the rest of the bike, which looked weirder than it does here.
Also, it did have some gloss, but being a military bike I took it out. I wanted the bars/forks to be a matte black, but all the metal is also part of the same zone. Since I wanted the engine nice and shiny...
The bike will get some more work. Just because its older, doesn't mean its a bad prop, after all.
