a beautiful close-up, the flower has opened its jaws just for you, and its tongue (the yellow stamens) invites us in. You captured strong spongy texture on the petals; and you captured beautiful light and shadow---this flower has real mysteries. And once again, you've placed your main photographic subject to one side (the left side), making it more intense. (Purely centered compositions aren't always as interesting or 'arresting' as off-center ones.) An intimate beautiful portrait of an iris opening up to us.
