No sooner than the sound of Lochan’s motorcycle died out, a green sports car appeared and parked in front of the Sailmaker’s Arms. A man and a woman stepped out. Those who look carefully and who have been following this gallery long enough may recognize the couple as Aram and Hailey. There is point in crime and detection fiction where the reader greatly confused is relieved by the arrival of the detective who will somehow sort everything out and solve the crime even if it hasn’t happened yet. Aram is a police detective who serves in a suburb of London where he met Hailey a librarian in a mansion owned by a mysterious family foundation. While working out their relationship Aram and Hailey averted attempted murder and solved crimes together. Just married, Hailey has been chosen as mistress of the family mansion. It is worth noting that she lost her parents in an accident while she was very young. It was a motor car accident not very far from Old Quayside… Aram is the more intellectual of the two, having studied for the clergy before going into police work, very much the professional detective. Hailey is strong and athletic, a girl Rugby star while in while in school, very brave who takes risks and has a way of going one on one with bad and dangerous adversaries.
