Description
Long range sensor indicators lit up both science and tactical control monitoring stations. Then the automatic proximity klaxons began blaring as the ships shields automatically went up. Dropping out of warp, T’Pol immediately called out “red alert, main phaser banks online, helmsmen full stop, hold her study right here”. Hovering over her computer monitors taking in all the readouts, ships new science officer Lieutenant T’Roinn called out “Commander it’s the T’Leia”! This brought the slightest smile to T’Pols lips raising her left eyebrow slightly as she called Captain to the bridge over the ship’s intercom.
The smile and raised eyebrow was from noticing the excitement in T’Roinnies voice as she announced the name of the vessel on her scanners. T’Pol had become some what of a mentor for the Lieutenant, and being fully aware of her Vulcan Romulan heritage. While this was in an unofficial unspoken capacity T’Pol was very aware of the young Lieutenants instinctual observance of her every action and her attempt at conforming them in her own personality and behavior. In a very discreet way T’Pol would try to encourage the Lieutenant to embrace her Romulan half and use it in combination with her Vulcan half, that she had no shame.
All the same, T’Pol could not help but indulge herself thinking “This Chair Fits Well”.
